Get Support
One of the most important things that we would wish to share when it comes to Internet evangelism is that you MUST get support and prayer
Its a good question! Well basically we offer you all the support you need in sharing your faith by being a part of a group of people that are working together in preference to being isolated in your evangelism. The main benefit outside of having others to ask questions of and work with, is that you will be enrolled on a distribution list that will give you lots of news and advice on Internet evangelism. If you have any further questions then don't hesitate to contact us directly however if you wish to join the team then fill in the form above and your name will be added to the mailing list. You will then be contacted shortly afterwards and told how your can participate: IMPORTANT NOTICE Please do not enroll on the evangelism team unless you are willing to participate in the mailing list discussions. This is not the group for Lurkers *grin*

These pages are designed to help you understand better what is involved in becoming a member of this team and thereby helping us in sharing the good news about Jesus with the online community. However if you have any doubts about what you read below and are unsure if you are suited to this work we would STRONGLY encourage you to read our 6 myths of Internet evangelism. The idea of the team is to create a framework in which to work and to give you the opportunity to set goals in your online evangelism as well as help others to reach their own goals. We basically give our team members the opportunity to get involved in three different ways:
We encourage any evangelism team members who are interested to create their own evangelistic site. If this is something you are interested in we can give you lots of help when you join the team. We encourage people to do this here: detailed advice on how to build one. The reason we suggest that team members do this is because not only is an evangelistic site a witness in itself but it is also a good way of getting people to e-mail you and start online conversations. There is nothing better to encourage discussion than an evangelistic site.
We encourage members to work in chatrooms in order to find people with whom they can build friendships. There are lots of chatrooms out there and we are more than happy to help you find one you can share in and to accompany you the first couple of times to get you going. To find out more about sharing your faith in a chatroom click here.
The final way of meeting people online is visit their homepages and we encourage team members to do this. There are over a million homepages on Geocities alone and most of those have e-mail addresses. We are happy to help you to find sites of interest to you and to give you guidance on the best way to contact people. For more information on door to door virtual evangelism click here. |
