One of the most important things that we would wish to share when it comes to Internet evangelism is that you MUST get support and prayer if you are going to undertake this work.

We believe very strongly that as we share our faith online we should follow the example that Jesus gave us in His word. When Jesus sent out his disciples to spread the good news he sent them out in twos. This is because Jesus was all too aware that sharing your faith can be a tough business and we need all the support we can get. Whether it is creating an evangelistic site or working in chat rooms you should always make sure you have somebody to turn to when things get difficult and somebody that is supporting and encouraging you in prayer. We must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers. Satan is desperate to prevent us from sharing the good news of Jesus and he is determined to keep us from using the Internet for Christ. It is for this reason that we need all the support that we can get if we are to share our faith online.

A Voice in the Wilderness gives you the support you need to share your faith as part of a larger Christian community. No longer do you need to stand alone but rather can work together as the body of Christ. One particular way that we can support you is by you joining our evangelistic team. By joining us you can get all the support and training that you need as well has having a group of people to turn to with questions and concerns. This group is purely voluntary and we understand that everybody has different constraints on their time and Internet access. That is why your level of involvement is completely up to you. The team is there to support you, not the other way around. However we do ask certain things from our team members. If you want to discover more of what is involved in being a part of our evangelistic team then by clicking here you can see the responsibilities that come with team membership. If you want to get involved but feel that you cannot commit the time and energy to being a full team member then you might be interested in some of the other ways to get involved found in our involvement's page.
