The
Evangelism Team
The evangelism
team is the primary way we encourage people to be involved in the work
of AVITW. By joining this team you can get involved in our evangelistic
efforts as well as get all the help you need to share your faith online.
To find out more about the evangelism team or to sign up then click
here.
Cell
group leaders
We are currently
looking for leaders to be involved in cell groups we are hoping to set
up over the coming year. These cell groups will be small groups (of up to
10 people) who can work together to share their faith online. They can
do this through prayer, fellowship, encouragement and joint evangelistic
projects. If you are interested in leading on of these cells then e-mail
us now.
Please note
that AVITW is a purely voluntary organization and made up solely of people
willing to give up some of their free time. Therefore none of the jobs
shown here are full-time or paid but rather voluntary positions which
you can do in your spare time.
To get
involved with any of our teams here at AVITW please fill in your
email address in one of the forms below or send us an email and share how
you would like to be involved and one of our evangelists will get in touch
with you.

Bonnie
Jean "BJ" Martens
of Internet Outreach Ministry (http://iom.cc/
) has been active in Internet Relay Chat ministries. She works with a
team of other e-vangelists through chat rooms on various IRC servers. (The
chat rooms are all called #Christian_Outreach.) She writes that
"there are not enough workers to minister to those who come in for
help and we are missing opportunities. Like tonight ... I have just
finished ministering to a young Christian struggling with sexual sin
and afraid to ask for help, and another young Christian who has been
suicidal for over a year but may finally be getting into a church
where she can get some help. ... And there are others in the room
waiting for someone to talk to but no one else is there to help, and I
can't stay any longer tonight." Can you help BJ? If so, write
her at godslove@flash.net.

Another
online evangelist, Lois Turley (Care-nurse.com
-- http://www.care-nurse.com/
-- is one of her Web
ministries), writes: "I'm especially needing mature adults,
preferably with some experience counseling young people who would be
willing to help reply to letters from a Web site that attracts hundreds of young
people, some with serious needs. I do have a youth pastor/counselor
helping, and other adults also who can do some counseling there.
Can you help? If so, write Lois at lois@care-nurse.com.

From Trisha Bridges
(Unity
In Christ Ministries)--
http://www.unityinchrist.net
I just wanted to make a need known to you all and ask for
people to join me in praying for God's provision. And if you feel led to
offer your assistance then please know that prayers are being offered for
this.
Missions for the Lord is a site dedicated to promoting missions. It is a
small ministry but can have a huge impact on people's lives if we really
start working on it more and sharing it with others.
The ministry needs workers. It needs people who will contact missionaries
and ask them if they would like to be listed in our database at
https://www.world-missionary.com/directory.cfm?org_name=MFTL as well
as people who can add them to the database (it is as simple as logging in,
typing in their first name, last name, email address and location). It
needs people to write articles about preparing for life as a missionary,
for fundraising, short term missions articles, reentry, etc.
http://missions.unityinchrist.net/resources/articles/index.htm It
needs people to research various beleifs and religions and write articles.
http://missions.unityinchrist.net/resources/beliefs/index.htm It needs
people to research countries and write articles on them.
http://missions.unityinchrist.net/resources/countries/country.html
There are many other needs and areas we would like to develop but those
are the main existing areas that we have currently in place and are in
need of people to help with. We also need the typical help in recruiting
new workers, promoting the site, seeking sponsorship for the ministries,
prayer prayer prayer and more prayer, etc.
If you are interested in helping please go to
UnityInChrist and apply.
If you are not interested please keep these needs in prayer as they really
need to be covered.
Thanks for your time and I hope to hear from people soon.
Trisha
